To check the sound in Skype to make sure that it's using the right speakers, select Test audio under the Speakers option.Finally, unplug the microphone and then reattach it. If there aren't other ones to pick from, make sure the microphone is plugged in, powered on (if it has a power switch), and has batteries (if wireless).If the microphone doesn't work with Skype, select the menu next to Microphone and see if there are any other options you might have the wrong device selected.As you talk, you should see the bar light up.
